The Chief Executive Officer for Lanier’s Creative Direction Services is Trevis Lanier a graduate of Howard University with A Bachelors in Science. Trevis Lanier was born in the city of Akron, OH in a region known as the dust bowl of America. As Tre’vis began his progression through life upon the completion of his high school graduation he ventured from the confinements of the city to pursue education abroad. He was able to identify factors that revealed his lack of opportunity and resources. Through his education he developed unique skills pertaining to creative and strategic thinking and planning. Using these skills to influence the events of his life he reached towards forever-increasing goals. Trevis credits his development of creative direction services to his time spent as an intern with The Walt Disney Company and his matriculation through Howard University. As an intern for Walt Disney World Trevis learned the value and the power of the imagination and how through processes the imagination can become tangible through reality and/or various mediums. He also honed his business skills studying business at the Walt Disney educational institution. At Howard University Trevis learned key leadership skills serving on the Executive Board for the Transfer Student Association and The Ohio Club. These organizations played a huge role and ensuring new transfer students and students from the state of Ohio got acquainted with resources and services offered on campus as well as campus living.
Trevis gained more experience in the business sector learning the logistics for business operation first hand through his climb to an executive assistant from a volunteer at The Akron AIDS Collaborative. He developed a 10-year relationship with the organization its directors, its board members, and his own city of Akron, OH.
As a professional dancer, Trevis honed his creative skills and his disciplinary skills through his dance education at Howard University and Kent State University. At this institution, Trevis choreographed various dance productions for on and off-campus organizations. As a freelance choreographer, Trevis created productions for fashion shows, modeling shows, hair shows and dance competitions. Through his talented abilities Trevis was afforded great opportunities performing on major television networks as well as performing on high profile stages such as the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and Studio 54 on Broadway in New York, NY.
Trevis credits his recent life exposures to the development of his creative strategic thinking skills. The determination behind skill allowed him to create a direction for his life and lifetime goals. He also believes that these creative skills can be used with other people as well as business institutions.
